How to read this dashboard
Jobs supported: the number of people each business employs, as reported to SUM1.
Women-led: businesses founded by a woman.
Youth-led: businesses whose founder was 35 or younger when SUM1 first funded them.
Repeat borrowers: businesses SUM1 has funded more than once.
Deals with SUM1: the total reported number of funding instances. A business can have several deals.
Reporting period: the quarter each figure was measured in (e.g. Q4 2026). The first record is the baseline at first funding; new figures are added each quarter so earlier results stay visible and growth can be tracked.
Missing figures: a dash means a figure is not recorded; zero means a reported zero. Percentages use businesses with known answers and show how many remain unclassified.
Founder classifications and business ages come from current profile answers, even when an earlier period is selected. Undated figures do not appear in the line charts. Corrections keep earlier versions.
